DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY

Goals / field of com-petence After completing the activity, the participant will be able to create and design digitally custom labels, templates,  and to program cutting machines
Training tasks Expanding the supply of painting professionals by increasing labour market adaptability.

The painting specialist should be able to digitally design, scale, cut out lettering and templates using a plotter and apply cut-out templates in a professional manner

Theory She/he knows the types of templates, positive, negative template.

She/he is able to design templates digitally.

She/he is able to create templates

She/he is able to size templates digitally

She/he is able to choose a substrate

She/he is able to connect and set up a plotter

She/he is able to cut templates using a plotter

She/he is able to cut out and resize templates

Shifting templates

She/he is able to apply templates to the surface

She/he is able to do any necessary finishing, painting, decorating, etc.

ASSESSMENT OF THE ACTIVITY
Assessment board —–
Assessment basis -Written report with arguments.

Interpretation of the task, description of the materials, tools and technologies chosen. Steps of design, description of practical workflow, description of the final result of the finished work.

-Practice report with argumentation.

Practice means more emphasis in the assessment!

Part of the practical exercise:

– preparing the receiving surface properly

– prepare a colour plan, mix colours

– Precise positioning of the template

– application process according to the template material

– (if no permanent template is applied) painting of templates

– removal of templates

– post-processing

Advice on personal career planning . Those who complete the course will have a wider range of customers, as their activities will be more diversified.

The technology can be used for a wide range of applications, e.g. folding tattooing, window lettering, decorative template patterns (vinyl), reconstruction of templates.

This technology is closely related to the decorator, car polisher, advertising – graphic design professions.
