The central topic and the introductory question for the discussion: unit price vs. de-tailed pricing! How to create a unit pricing that complies with the regulations (standards) and shows the profit of the company. The goal is to gather different opinions and experiences and develop a concept for a final solution.

The speaker with practical experience is available as a sparring partner. The direct speaker feedback and an undisturbed working atmosphere enable concentrated work on your project.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY

Goals / field of competence The Federal Association of the Painting, Plastering and Wallpapering Trade (hereinafter referred to as SZMTOI) has set itself the goal of investigating the most common pricing methods in the painting trade, with the involvement of contractors and education experts, and of shifting standard price calculation in the direction of itemized/detailed pricing.
Training tasks Description of detailed goals / content (fine goals). Learning outcomes according to PSA qualification portfolio:

During training, painters learn the norms regarding working time, materials, machine use and other costs (overheads). The vast majority of contractors use unit prices for pricing (xx /sqm). It is often difficult to determine operational overhead and profit. Calculating with the overhead rate makes the calculation easier. Participants will learn about a program for detailed budgeting in the construction industry that calculates the cost of work based on standards set by regulations. This program and these standards are used in the design phase when the preliminary cost of the project (building) is calculated. Those who master the program can apply it to all specialized works in the construction industry.

·       digital budgeting tools, creates cost estimates by line item.

Advice on personal career planning Individual recommendations. There are also service providers (companies) that deal with pre-calculation (for tenders, banking, pre-calculation of works, etc.). With the acquired knowledge there are good chances to find a job in these companies. The knowledge acquired here can also be very useful for further qualifications (technical school, university).
